Fun Videos from the week

I take videos weekly and never post them but here are a couple from this week. A and C always ask me to take videos and love watching themselves. Since I always tell them to talk to the camera, Ashton said today" Can you take a video of my train bridge and I'll tell the camera how I made it?"

FAAN walk

In October, we walked in the food allergy and anaphylaxis network's walk. Sarah and Nick joined us which was so fun! I had wanted to do this for awhile just to show Ashton how many other kids are just like him. They had so many booths set up with free goodies and alllergy free foods. If you showed your epipen at one, you got a special prize! Thanks to everyone who donated to Team York!

My mom's 60th Birthday

We celebrated my mom's 60th Birthday a little late. The week prior she spent 2 days in the hospital with a horrible migraine that caused some speech problems and numbness in her body. It was a scary weekend for all of us while we waited for the doctors to rule out a stroke. We're praising God she is doing well now! We celebrated the following weekend at a nearby park. That day the boys had been to a superhero birthday party and everyone was given some aweome capes and masks! They are loving wearing theirs and "flying" around the house.

Random Fall Fun

these 2 older boys thought it would be hilarious to get in Embry's exersaucer

Notice Collin seems to always be wearing just his diaper because he is still so messy at mealtime that many times we end up stripping him after he eats! I realize how redneck it looks!!

We went to Jaemor Farms in September for a corn maze, fresh produce and a hayride. We loved it!

This hayride was really nice and best for allergy families come to the country as Wes said, "the hayless hayride for the Yorks!"

random reading day after the library one of my off days. Notice the dumptruck with Collin's doggie. He lugs that thing everywhere now and it's looking very loved!!

My grandparents spent an afternoon with us at a nearby park for lunch

bookends on the Moore side! love it!!!

Georgia Game 2012

We try to make a yearly trip to campus during football season to walk around and visit with Wes' family before the game. I had so many great photos this year. Our boys ha a blast watching the Redcoats practuce since daddy has 3 former students in it and then playing on the football practice field afterwards with cousin Edwin.

sucha sweet photo of Collin running. He still runs like a baby. I'm sure it won't last much longer!

Ashton so big with Aunt Mel

sweet brothers

Embry's first gameday!

wore him out!

Ashton didn't remember seeing the stadium before since we didn't go last year. He loved seeing it and said, "Mommy, we REALLY need to go to a football game here." I guess next year we'll have to get tickets!

walking to the bookstore

showing him our names

these 2 had a big day

Halloween 2012

This was the best year yet for Ashton and Halloween. It's so great that he knows what's coming this year since he remembers last year! At school the kids all dressed as farmers and they had a pumpkin patch and hayride so he was so excited. His awesome teachers are great about telling me what the snacks will be so I packed him up some Halloween cookies we made last weekend and he was set! Here we are at 6:30 before we all left for work and school. C and E were wearing their orange for their Halloween party too. I was dressed as Snow White for work (more later)

Ready to go trick or treating! Ashton had told Collin yesterday, "Tomorrow is Halloween and you get to eat candy ALL day!"

The firemen and their fire dog "Embers" which is really his nickname!

This idea came months ago when Ashton said when he grew up he wanted to be a fireman with Collin and I think Wes or maybe it was AShton who said  Embry can be your firedog!

Looking at their pumpkin daddy carved

The crew in their fire engine! I had wanted to make a firetruck with the wagon for a long time but decided it was too hard so Wes came up with this last minute which was perfect. He drew a ladder on the other side!

they looked too cute waiting on the people at the doors

Embers stuck it out even though he was tired and doing his "tired song" by the end

The hats were a little sideways by the end of the night and they couldn't wait to eat all the candy. Of course Ashton would say, "I'm allergic to this" which is awesome that he knows now. I bought lots of safe candy that we traded in for his unsafe and made him quite happy and now daddy and I have a lot of chocolate!
This is me at work dressed as Snow White with one of my doctors as the huntsman. My mom made my skirt! I bought the cape on Etsy.

Another doctor was the wicked witch

OUr nurses were going to dress as dwarfs but decided that was too hard so we had a hillbilly, jester, and lots of jailbirds. They decorated the front windows with bars too. I work with such a great group! Our patients loved it.
