Apparently, the baby-boomer generation is not happy with the traditional grandparent names. This is what my mom and dad tell me after researching names online. There actually are websites dedicated to people who are "too hip" for traditional names. If you know my parents, this type of thing is totally up their alley! So they have been looking at websites for new names the baby can call them. Yesterday we had lunch with them (and Patrick who was in town) at the OK Cafe. My dad brought his list of favorite "southern" grandfather names. We were dying laughing and here are some of my favorites:
Ace
Bubba
Big Daddy (of course, Mr Norton has been Big Daddy for years now)
Willie-Pop
Goober
Hawgman
G-man
Catfish
Skeeter
Rascal and the best for my dad...Ron-daddy was actually on the list!

we were just talking about Big Daddy Norton! I vote for willie-pop, but you could totally spin it to ronnie-pop :) Can't wait to hear the outcome!
