Curious George A and C

Bear with me...lots of pictures but Halloween was so fun this year! Ashton got to go trick or treating for the first time and loved it! Plus, it was Collin's first Halloween. My little monkeys looked so adorable but Collin didn't like his costume too much and fussed a lot. It was pretty hot for them. We all went trick or treating in my parents' neighborhood so it was fun seeing some old neighbors that had not met the boys. The highlight was a family I used to babysit for that now have a freshman at UGA! The mom said, "Blakely was one of the few babysitters who could handle two kids." How ironic that I am barely handling my own two kids 15 years later!!
Anyway, Ashton LOVED trick or treating. Wes had told him,"you're gonna dress in your monkey suit and go for a walk." This was all the explaining he needed. I was prepared with lots of dairy free treats and had researched on all my allergy mom blogs how they handled Halloween. I made some vegan brownies too with orange icing that were very yummy! Anyway, he ended up enjoying pretzels and raisins and one family gave out playdough which was awesome! The one thing he keeps bringing up today though is one house who had a scary looking wolfman that made a noise and freaked him out! Poor little guy started crying and he keeps talking about it today saying, "That noise scared me."It's amazing how that still stands out in his mind.
All in all it was a great night and the two little monkeys were very tired by the end along with the "zookeepers."
The other pictures are from a pumpkin patch last weekend! Happy Fall!

Carving the pumkin was so fun! Ashton loved helping Wes scoop out all the goop and seeds!

Mom and I will have to tell you about "Freddy the Monkey" that scared little Wes many Halloweens ago. It bothered him for some time, and he would get nervous whenever we walked down the street where "the incident" occurred!
