Although it was a rainy Saturday, Ashton and Wes enjoyed his first UGA game today! I think the highlight was seeing the railroad tracks right beside Sanford Stadium, but he enjoyed all the sights of the game, being three rows from the top of the stadium, the bands during halftime, walking North Campus and the mini tailgate we had in the rain before the game!
The other two boys and I tagged along and went to visit my friend Lindsey and her family during the game, who has been battling breast cancer and had her mastectomy 2 weeks ago. Praise God she is also now cancer free but has a long road of recovery. Speaking of the recovery, I have now restarted physical therapy for my neck and shoulder at Turning Point breast cancer rehab and so happy that I decided to go back. Yesterday my sweet husband took the morning off work and drug along the three boys so that he could go with me and learn how to help stretch my shoulder to help me in the future. I am so thankful for that place and how they are teaching me to view this as a lifetime orthopedic injury that will hurt if I miss a day of stretching. Such a small price to pay for being cancer free and I am so thankful that Lindsey is now cancer free as well. Praise God for healing and please pray for her and her sweet family and 2 young boys.
