Goodbye Bijal, ER...hello teeth!

I am so going to miss my dear friend Bijal from PA school who is moving to Pennsylvania this weekend. She and Ewa came over for a farewell dinner this week and put together a walker for Ashton that Ewa got him..fun fun! Then last night we said farewell to ER which brought back a lot of memories. I used to be a diehard ER fan and those female docs inspired me to join the medical field- Now I actually understand what they say! Wes loves to tell the story about calling me in the dorm on Thursday nights when we first started dating and I would ask him to call back after ER was over. Margaret and I had parties to watch it in our room every Thursday. Now we watched the last episode with our son in the next room...how strange! The big news at our house is that Ashton's first tooth popped up today. Our little guy is growing up too fast!

Yesterday Wes pulled out his "old blue" to wear before he even saw what Ashton was wearing. Old Blue is this old, thin polo he has had since high school that I have been trying to get him to replace for years. Now Ashton has one just like it he inherited from his cousin Edwin. The Goldens came to visit last weekend and brought their new puppy, Eva! The Sullivans stopped by and brought Georgie so the three had a little sniffing fest. Ashton enjoyed having them! We had such a great visit and then on Sunday enjoyed the beautiful weather at the park with my parents.

Thank You God for the Snow...

and for the shrieks of the children on the preschool hall at church as we came out and found it snowing!
