getting ready for party day the week before! This took a lot of prep and planning this year! I had some help from the grandparents though as you'll see. My mother in law helped me cut SS pictures the boys had colored and we had them on all the doors. I had lots of SS trivia placed around the basement too. This was such a FUN theme!!

Embry's First Bites of Cereal

I cannot believe Embry is growing up too fast!
Tonight he had his first rice cereal. He loved it!! and especially loved sitting up with all of us. AShton and Collin loved seeing him on the table too.

Collin loves rolling down our big hill. Everyday when I think"which one is in the most immediate danger" or "could be" it's usually Collin I need to help first! AShton is up top on his new bike!

One in the stroller...

one attached to me in the carrier, and one that I shoved out of the car over to daddy after whirling up like a crazy lady next to the band walking to the field. That was how I managed to get the boys into the game tonight. I knew it would be hard because the trek into the stadium is not easy. But we made it. And we had to because Ashton has been talking about going to the first game all week. It was football week at school. They painted footballs, tried on jerseys, played football games, and made a little flag to wave during the games. How could I not take him? Then there were inflatables tonight for the little kids and he saw classmates and his teacher. He was so darn cute and so excited. Collin was excited too but also a little intimidated by the whole thing. Embry was in a daze but awake the whole time taking it all in. Now if they would only sleep late tomorrow after being up so late!!

My view of this sweet baby all night

eating sunbutter and jelly for dinner

Ashton's spirit flag

Protective Big Brother. I asked him to help Collin up the inflatable

The helping didn't last long. Collin tumbled down and the sweet older student manning it helped him climb up. "SHe help me" he told me on the way home

watching the crowds

Home at last!

Athens!!

Another reason I have not posted lately, Wes started to get his doctorate this summer. Adding crazy to the craziness! I will be honest, it made for a really hard summer and I am so glad his classes are over for a few weeks. At the end, we spent a day there with our dear Siple friends at their new house. We also took the boys to North Campus.

This photo was taken on the Chapel steps where we were married...almost 10 years ago!
Hands are much more full now ringing the chapel bell!

This photo is priceless. Wes and Matt grew up across the street from one another and lived together all 4 years of college. Now we have SIX kids between us!!

On a roll...here's the fourth!

Watching the Olympics and posting tonight so I'll keep going while I have some energy. Collin has not been sleeping well for about 2 months and it has been awful. We are so exhausted anyway and then he just appears in our room several times a night. Sometimes he wakes his brothers up along the way down the hall. We've tried so many things and he even slept in our room on a sleeping bag but we broke that habit a few weeks ago. Some nights are good now but he still wakes up about 4-5 AM and then it's hard for him to get back to sleep. All this to say, I don't post much anymore. Here's the Fourth! We went to downtown Cumming for their annual steam engine parade. It was so fun but very loud! They even handed out ear plugs for the kids. We're thankful to live in a family oriented community.

Truman's Sip and See

At the end of June, Kate and I had a "sip and see" for Margaret and Truman since they were in town.
It was our first chance to meet little Truman who is just weeks younger then Embry. It was so great to spend time with my dear friends and all of our mothers. We've been through a lot together through the years!

Kate's mom with her grandon James and baby Truman

                                                            The proud grandmother

Love this photo of Kate and James. James has a baby sister on the way! We're excited to have a girl around!

Embry's Dedication Day

making cards for our grandmothers for Mother's Day
A helping me make brownies for Embry's dedication day

Embry was dedicated at our church on Mother's Day in May. It was such a special day and our family came back to our house after church for lunch. We are so thankful to have a larger home now that we can have everyone over. We pray Embry will know Jesus at an early age and have a lifelong relationship with His Savior.
thankful for my three boys on Mother's Day
