Fun summer moments!

The other day we made Oobleck which is cornstarch and water that we dyed different colors. I am trying to do fun sensory play activities but this was a flop! Embry hated it and kept holding his hands in the air because he didn't want to get dirty. Collin kept begging for water and papertowels to wipe his. Ashton kept saying, "is this it??" They had way more fun in the tub afterwards because I let them get in together which they usually don't do anymore because they are so big!

This was a more successful sensory activity I did with the boys this spring. We had fun dying colored rice and then made a rainbow that I let them play in. It looked beautiful!

It was hard to wait until I enjoyed the rainbow photos before I let      them dig in!

These last photos were taken this spring one day when Ashton was at school. Collin and Embry decided to have an animal hospital. Here they are feeding the patients' lunch

Grandaddy's 85th Birthday!

Last weekend we celebrated Grandaddy's Birthday at the pool. I asked the boys to help me pick out a watergun for him so they enjoyed getting his gift. It was a great gift! He had a ball squirting the boys at the pool!! What a great gift for an 85 year old!

Collin is having so much more fun in the water and getting braver. He loves naming his jumps like "the twist" and "the disappear" when he goes under water! This time he jumped over Mimi's head

Denny tried to ride our lizard, Swimmy!

Ashton is quite the fish. In fact, we are having to remind him of his limits. He loves swimming!

This picture captures the York stare! These boys are staring down a stranger at the pool who was playing with their watergun after they got out. haha!!

Sweet Memories!

So glad we were able to pick strawberries this year with my granddaddy again. The boys have loved doing it the past few years and it makes special memories for all of us!

I took these big boys out of school early for the day which they loved!

And...he's three!

Our little E Turned three today!! His brothers are so proud of him. Collin wanted to measure his height before he even got out of bed and ran to get the yardstick! We sure do love you Embry and cannot imagine our life without you. You bring so much laughter and joy to us four! Last night his brothers said we should thank God for Embry in our prayers and E wanted to pray so he said, 'thank you God for myself!" Well said sweet boy! Now, if you would only poop in the potty!!

Wes playing the Beatle's birthday song which the boys have come to love on their birthdays!
