So many changes in 2008!

Well we're hoping to put our condo on the market next week-exciting but a little sad too. I guess we're ready to head for the suburbs but we're loved living in Atlanta for the past 4 years. We've been busy cleaning out closets and Wes has been painting a few things to get the place ready. I'm now typing on the laptop on a computer desk that we have had an old unused desktop on. Wes destroyed the hard drive on the desktop last night which was fun after some good advice from our Techie friends Matt and Nick. Now we just need a buyer for our home...

Haley is embarrassed of me

I know I keep writing about gagging but some things are too funny not to share. If you get queasy, do not read. I haven't thrown up I think because I had reflux surgery a few years ago and it is more difficult for me to vomit than the average person. But I "dry-heave" all the time now and it comes completely out of the blue. My entire family has experienced these episodes and although they feel sorry for me, everyone ends up laughing because it really is funny. Wes doesn't even look up from what he is doing anymore. Anyway, for some reason it happens when I'm walking Haley around our complex and today it was really bad. I had to stop walking and lean over the curb. I looked over at our dog and she just stood there looking up at me as if to say, "Again? This is really humiliating." I had to laugh.

I'm not afraid of you Dental Assistant

So I'm going to the dentist today and I'm not at all feeling guilty about not flossing the past couple of months. I'm going to tell her that I'm lucky to brush at all considering it makes me gag and there's no way I'm sticking my fingers and string into my mouth for the amount of time it takes to floss.

I did the unthinkable...

Tonight Wes had a rehearsal until late and I have been working for a doctor this week which means very late hours for me and more work when I come home. So...I called Wes at lunch and said, Can you just pick up fast food for yourself tonight? He thought it was funny because we never do that. We always plan out dinner and he usually cooks on days I work but there was no way I was cooking tonight. I mostly wrote this for my brother who loves it when I eat fast food. Chick-fil-A is always my first choice.

First Trimester

Yeah! We survived and have hit the 12 week mark! I haven't posted because I have been feeling so rotten but I think things may be looking up. For those of you who don't know, I have been having heart palpitations and had to wear a heart monitor last week and have some tests done with a cardiologist. Everything has turned out ok and I won't have to start medication if I can ignore them, which I am thankful for. Please continue to keep us in your prayers!
